Crispy Fried Shrimp Tacos


This crispy shrimp tacos are super easy and oh so beautiful! You can add any other toppings you might like, but for this I've used a light red cabbage and sour cream slaw.

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Shrimp

Marinade:

1-3 tsp Red Chili Powder

1/2 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp lime juice

1/2 tsp

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Coating: 1/4 cup Corn Starch 1/4 cup Flour 1 tsp Chili powder

1/2 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Salad:

1/2 Red Cabbage

5/6 stems of Green Onions

1 tbsp Sour Cream

Juice of 1 Lime

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Tortillas

Oil for frying

DIRECTIONS

1.Peel, clean, and dry off your shrimp.

2.Add in the marinade ingredients and set aside for a few minutes

3.Mix all the coating ingredients in a bowl, and coat the shrimp. Set aside.

4.Heat up your oil in a pan on medium high, then fry your shrimp until golden brown, only about 2 minutes, do not overcook. Drain on paper towel when done.

5.Slice your red cabbage and soak to leach out excess color. Drain and pat dry with paper towel.

6.Mix in your sour cream, lime, salt, and pepper.

7.Toast tortillas for a bit, and top with a bit of salad, and fried shrimp.

8.Enjoy!
